Anna Zabel, MD
Assistant Physician
She graduated from university in summer 2025 and developed a strong interest in nephrology and clinical research early on. In October 2025, she joined the research group of Manfred Hecking at the general hospital Vienna.
One of her first projects involved collaborating with Janosch Nicknam on a survey investigating willingness for fish oil supplementation in dialysis. In this context, she was primarily responsible for the evaluation of questionnaire data. Through this work, she gained hands-on experience in handling clinical datasets.
She is highly motivated to further develop her scientific and analytical skills and to take on increasing responsibility within the research group. She looks forward to contributing more extensively to future projects and to supporting the team in advancing clinical research.
