Georg Hinterholzer, MD

Georg Hinterholzer is a trained internist with specializations (Zusatzfächer) in intensive care medicine and nephrology. Georg is the senior physician in charge at the intensive care unit of Klinikum Favoriten's First Medical Department (Department Chief: Sabine Schmaldienst) and has been involved with several previous projects of the HD & Co research group. Recently, Georg has devoted lots of time and background research to the planing of the ERI study (described in the group's projects), which will test enteral fluid therapy against intravenous fluid administration. Georg is not only an experienced ICU physician, but also a role model and mentor for Nikolaus Keil, Vincent Rathkolb and Maximilan Waller who all contribute to ERI- and related studies.
